Are you sure these are just mosquitos?

So, dad claims these are mosquito bites... This was yesterday... they are purple today. I'm not sure i'm convinced thats what they are, but i've got them ALL OVER my legs!!!! And they ITCH!!! How annoying!!!! :-(
